Throughout the year, the Yellow Jacket lacrosse program a 501 © 3 non-profit offers a verity of programing for all skill levels from beginners to elite.  

 

Open to boys and girls ages U8-U14

 

Spring Recreational Season

(Mid January-Early April)

The Spring recreation season brings full gear and a lot of fun! Coaches will work through progressive practice plans focusing on building the kids from the ground up with a strong focus on skills development.  All players will receive equal play time.  

Seasons will consist of two weekday practices and 1-2 games every Saturday for 10-12 weeks starting mid-January and going through the beginning of April. 

 

Summer Programing Season

(Early May-Mid June)

We offer a few options for the summer.  

6U little Buzz -

What a great way to get out, run around, learn the game of lacrosse and have a blast! We will be running a fun 6U little Buzz co-ed program which will meet once a week for 6 weeks. The little buzz program is designed to create a fun and enjoyable experience through fun drills and games.  

Beginner clinics –

This program is designed to introduce the game of lacrosse to new players ages 7 and up! Players will meet once a week for 6 weeks and will only need a stick.  Beginner clinics provide a skill foundation that lacrosse players need to take it to the next level.  

Mini 4 on 4 games -

Our unique way to develop lacrosse IQ, stick work, and confidence by increasing the number of reps and giving kids a chance to try out all positions on the field. 

Mini 4 on 4 games is a non-contact, no pads, designed to enhance and improve fundamental stick skills, field sense, conditioning, and confidence. The Summer season will be seven weeks long meeting once a week. First half of each week will be dedicated teaching which will include drills with the second half dedicated to games. 

Travel – 

The travel program is geared towards players that have the skills and dedication to play at the highest level for their age group.  This program will practice twice a week starting early May and will run through June while participating in two tournaments. (Tournaments TBA) 

 

Fall Programing Season

(Mid September-Late October)
